Imagine if you woke up and you could not see. Your eyes were open, but you only could see darkness, or shadows, and you were blind. The day before you went to sleep, you could see all the bright colors of the world. You could see your hand if you looked at it. You could see your face in the mirror. The beauty of your dog, children, and spouse–all visible to you. But today you woke up, and you were totally without natural sight. Imagine how afraid you would be. Your foundation would be shook! Simply because your eyes could no longer see, and you don’t know how or what happened to you.
Well, as much as you are afraid about what is happening to you or what your life is going to be like moving forward now that your eyesight may be gone permanently, you are already experiencing blindness. You are living your life without seeing what is inside of you. Unable to see the darkness that lives inside of you.
You Are Inside Out

So why are you not afraid or concerned about what or who is living inside of you? It’s because you’ve become accustomed to it, so it is not on your radar.
And your emotions are a habitation for darkness.
In fact, you are full of darkness unbeknownst to you.
So, who knows what is hiding in you? Why are you not aware of the darkness inside your soul? I know you have a lot of questions.
How do I rid myself of the darkness? And so forth and so on. To answer your questions, we will have to go to the Bible, which is the infallible Word of GOD.
“All Scripture is breathed out by GOD and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of GOD may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) ESV
Every human being is born in darkness. This is because of what Adam did when the Lord told him “In the day that you eat the fruit, you should surely die”.
He wasn’t talking about his natural man dying immediately but about his spirit being disconnected from GOD’s and no longer being shrouded with eternal life.
Of course, natural death would follow and Adam would only live to a certain age and then die. As a result, Adam’s death perpetuated to all humanity because Adam partook of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil against GOD’s commandments.
Hence, every child thereafter would be born spiritually dead. And if you are spiritually dead, darkness is inside of you, there is no light except for the light of the eye which GOD gives to us to see by.
The darkness inside of you exists without you knowing it. The only one who can expose and reveal exactly what is in the darkness inside of you is GOD Almighty!
You need him living on the inside of you and the only way to have him is to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Constant and close association brings connection with him opening the spiritual lines of communication with the ONLY one who can tell you the TRUTH about what’s inside of you.
You don’t need shelter from him. (That is GOD) instead you need to live under the shelter of the Most High. This is the Bible’s point of view, and I can tell you with everything in me, it is accurate. I say this from experience of living GOD’s Word and having him inside of me it has completely metamorphosed me and changed my life.
Anger, jealousy, sneakiness and more
You may know when you are upset, or if you are an angry. But there are other issues in you which are seen and felt by others.
There are deeper dark problems, underexposed and hidden inside of you, conditions that show up one day when you do something that is completely unexpected and not part of your nature! This is what you need to discover before something happens that will affect you and those you love for a very long time.
The real you-a spirit being is shrouded in darkness. And the reason I’m writing this article is to help you understand you can change that today.
If you’re thinking it’s too much work to find out what’s wrong with me, it’s not. The problem is you are trying to figure this out on your own terms, which is virtually impossible.
As I write at this exact moment, I’m sitting in a dark house! A small plane hit an electrical tower in Montgomery County where I live in Maryland, knocking power out for 84,000 residents. This happened around 5:50 PM today, and here I think that I’m tired of sitting in darkness.
I have things to do. All my electricity is off and even though I know the electricity is slowly coming back on in my area, I want it on now! I’m uncomfortable sitting here in this darkness. So, I can imagine how those of you who feel trapped in darkness and don’t know how to get out must feel.
Light it up!!!!!
You didn’t make yourself. The surrounding people cannot see inside of you. If they could see inside of you, most people would run away because they would see things that would frighten them.
It’s time for you to turn the light on inside of yourself. “And then there was light” as a reference point. I want to take you back to Genesis, the first chapter, when the Bible says that the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters and darkness filled the earth. Emphasis on darkness, no one could see on the earth, there was no human there because GOD had destroyed it previously and the only thing present besides The Holy Spirit was the water and darkness.
Water is a powerfully prophetic substance. GOD revealed that to me. It is one reason why it is so important in our lives, to flush out all toxins. 70% of blood is composed of water; you can’t live without water. It is a powerful catalyst for oxygen.
When we cook, you need water. Water is needed to wash your pots and your body. Whatever you’re eating needs water in it to be useful. Plants, fruits and vegetables need water to grow and thrive!
In Genesis, you’ll see that GOD starts out hovering over the earth, which is full of darkness. One of the first things he does is expose darkness and then turn on the lights. He says let there be light. GOD is light himself, so he’s the only one who could say: “let there be light”. It emanates from him!
And then GOD separated the waters once the light was on. Dry land called earth emerged. I encourage you to read Genesis chapter 1, 2 and 3,. It’s a crescendo, and will show how important to know what dark things live in you. You need to know what the darkness is inside of you.
If you are unsaved, meaning you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You are spiritually dead and living under darkness, just like the earth was full of darkness — so are you.
You may see naturally , yet what you visualize is not correct. Your spiritual deadness and surrounding darkness taint your vision.
Anything you see through the darkness will look different.
Anything you see through the darkness will look different. It’s like having rose-colored glasses on. While you are looking through rose-colored glasses, things look different from what they really are. If you have on sunglasses, it’s the same. While you’re looking through them, everything appears different. Sometimes it looks even better to you than it normally does.
Do you need help to see things as they really are? Help which comes from someone who can see clearly into areas in you that no one else can see. Someone who you can trust and help you navigate through that pain and everything else that you may have burning on the inside, creating the dark smoke in you.
Sometimes you feel you’re suffocating, fire is all around you, burning up everything in your life. If this is you, you need oxygen and not the oxygen at the doctor’s office, but the one that will give you a new breath in life where you feel you can breathe again. The only Person that fits that bill I just talked about in the sentence above, One whom you can trust to look inside of you, is GOD. GOD is super intelligent. He will only expose to you when you’re ready to receive.
What does GOD get out of this
You. Have you been seeking what he desires of you? Are you ready to accept and rid yourself of the darkness inside of you?
Please don’t let pain, anger, hate, and fear rule your life and prevent you from taking a step in a positive direction which would to learn the truth. The truth can set you free. Not knowing the truth will hinder your growth and development. You will lose out on opportunities you should have enjoyed, while you will continue to age and possibly never live your life to the fullest. I encourage you not to settle.
GOD recently told me that happiness is within. I asked GOD “what is happiness?”, and he said the Holy Spirit. Well, if you don’t have the Holy Spirit living in you, then there is no way that you can authentically and truly be happy.
