What is controlling your thoughts right now? Are you controlling them or is someone else?
People are under attack, living in fear and struggling with emotional trauma that never seems to go away. So, instead of finding the source of the problem, coping mechanisms emerge.
My Past Trauma
The other day my son called me and told me that a woman, who was in my life 30 years ago, suddenly called him to tell him that her father had passed away the day before.
This family that I was involved with was not a godly connection. In fact, it was a demonic one. I was involved with this young lady‘ father when she was 16 years old. I wondered how she got my son’s phone number. Then I found out that my son’s cousin gave her his number.
Still, it was odd to me because how did she know his cousin? This person is not our family. I am sharing this because I want you to see how the enemy can reach back into your past to affect your now, and if possible, your future, with issues and circumstances that happened a long time ago.
She was telling my son that her father had passed away; my son didn’t know why she would call him. He was a little boy, five years old, when he saw her. She babysat him for a couple of days. I have no connection to any of her family. But as I stated, the enemy is going back and bringing up things that should be dead and gone. The reason this happened, and I can tell you that from a spiritual perspective, is because of familiar spirits.
What is the familiar spirit?
If you are not aware of what a familiar spirit is, it is a demon from the kingdom of darkness, where Satan has his throne. Familiar spirits are assigned to families, hence the root word in “familiar” relating to family.
Satan sends out his demonic minions to troll you and watch your behavior patterns. Your likes, dislikes, and choices. He brings people into your life to create problems and havoc if he can.
Incidentally, when he lays the trap for you to get mixed up in something that will hurt, rob, steal, or traumatize your emotions, all he has to do is entice you to accept, or take part in something that is against GOD’s word.
Demon/familiar entities advocate for your demise and unfortunately, they do a good job of it. Just look at the state of the world.
For instance, take a family where the parents were/are drug addicts; they have kids, and their kids end up becoming drug addicts. Now let’s take this a step further. Let’s say protective services took the children when they were born because of their parents’ state and placed them with good families…
These children never knew their biological parents, yet somehow, they end up becoming addicted to drugs or having other powerful addictions. So, addiction prevails in their lives.
The adoptive parents don’t have a history of drug use, so why are they following in the footsteps of their biological parents?
Well, science will tell you it is because the drugs are in their DNA, but that is not the real reason. The root cause of the problem is the demonic heritage and spirits assigned to these children because of their family lineage. These demons are unforeseen by the surrounding people. Make no mistake! They are real, dark, and dangerous demons assigned to oppress real people.
These demons sent track watch snd report back about everyone in that family. The job is to connect family members with other people who abuse or use drugs and to make them feel like it’s OK to use or try drugs. The demonic spirits work to destroy the natural fear, or hesitation and understanding of how destructive drugs are to humanity at large.
Even though they know and have seen the horrible effects and control drugs have on you, firsthand, and what life with their parents would be like because of drug addiction. The sorcery effect and stronghold stimulating from the bio-parents’ drug addiction, trickle down to the children and they still grow up and partake of drugs, already knowing what could happen to them. These are real people and actual demons who are oppressing them.
I studied the demonic for over 30 years and can tell you stories of demons I have cast out of people who came to church looking for help and deliverance.
There is no one in this world who does not have demons assigned to them.
Footnote: why would GOD need to assign you a guardian angel if there was not anything evil in this world that would threaten your life?
How much they influence their lives is going to depend on a few factors. One is your decisions and choices; another is your connection to GOD and how involved he is in your life.
Meaning, did you invite him into your life to make him your Lord and Savior? His presence in your life is not only for you, but for your family as well.
If you have a loved one who is being demonically oppressed with disease, sickness, addiction, or mental illness, then you need to stand for that person and GOD to deliver him or her. Ask GOD to save their soul.
Satan has a strategy to destroy their happiness, to keep them from living a successful life. Everybody deserves happiness! Satan has no business touching the lives of humans! The only way to make sure that your family member or loved one is freed is to accept GOD into the situation, and partner with him to fulfill his plans and purposes here on earth.
When you accept GOD, it won’t be for naught. You give your love to him, by honoring and worshipping him as GOD, which forges a connection between you and him, and in return, you will be protected under the shadow of the Almighty. He’s unbeatable!
There is a process to do so. If you’re interested in it, write me. I will not get really deep into this teaching here. I’m just giving you some information so you can understand that demons are real, and they exist for one reason: to make your life difficult and to destroy your happiness, hope, health, mental faculties and ruin your marriages.
Demons inject thoughts that cause you to question your identity. They remind you consistently of past wrongs that happen in your life. Whipping you with those situations even after it’s long past.
The only way to protect yourself from Satan and his cohorts, is to give yourself to GOD because the Bible says when you go into a strong man’s house to spoil his goods, you’re going to need one who is stronger than him to do so. I’m including the scripture here.
Matthew 12:22-29
“Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.”
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore, they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of GOD, then the kingdom of GOD is come unto you. Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house?”
We Are Not GOD- But We Have His Power
Now, while we are not GOD, he has given us power, which is his power to tread on serpents and scorpions. The Bible says Christians have all the power over the enemy and he should by no means harm you. This scripture, in fact, the entire book, is talking to believers about people who know GOD, have accepted him, or want to know him.
The word of GOD, aka the Bible, is the only document where GOD wrote through men about who he is, how he feels about us and what his power is doing for us. If you want to know GOD, you must read the word of GOD. There is no other way and once you read and seek him with your heart, then he’ll take you to other levels of possibility.
You will have a friendship with GOD. In fact, you can call on him and make him your best friend. It’s all up to you. But if you think you could live this life created by GOD and walk through it unscathed and can get yourself in and out of a situation without him, you are deceived.
Created in love
GOD created you to want and need him just like he created you to desire love. It’s because you were made of love. You can’t be derived from something and not feel its essence. Love is the covenant that GOD created between you and him.
Now there are other worlds and beings in the atmosphere that co-exist alongside us. Just like you believe there are angels, you can believe there are also devils too. Everyone is assigned to n angel by God to be their guardian angel. Although all of us have an angel watching over us, some of us have more because of our earthly assignments or jobs that GOD has given us that’s going to make it necessary for us to have levels of protection, etc. Most people believe Satan exists. Well, he does. Wouldn’t it seem feasible to you that he has an abode in his dark kingdom?
After all, GOD said he drew to himself a third of the angels! And because he exists is why there is so much evil in the world and so many bad things happening everywhere you turn–murder, robbery, sex slavery, abortion, etc.
Maybe your eyebrows raised when I said abortion; people don’t think of abortion as being evil, but it is.
How do I know what spirits/demons are oppressing me?
The best way to know what type of demonic influence you have in your life is by asking the Holy Spirit. He knows everything, and that is exactly why you need a strong relationship and connection to him. One easy way to know what is oppressing you is by the result that you’re getting in your life. For instance, let’s say that you have a lot of fear in your mind in different areas of your life. You can safely know that you have a spirit of fear that is oppressing you. And usually, demons are not by themselves they have others that are working with them.
So, it’s important that you get the protection you need from them by receiving the gift of salvation from the Lord. And that is only the first step. There are others you must take to receive deliverance from these evil beings. If you are not saved, you are not going to heaven, and you have no power or authority against the powers of darkness. I would advise you not to try to drive the demonic spirits out of you because they will come back with seven more evil than they are. Here is the scripture that reveals that:
“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through dry places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, “I will return to my house from which I came.” And when it comes, it finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it be also with this evil generation?” Matthew 12:43-45.
